Hi all, I have downloaded the vs2010 beta from microsoft site .but when i am trying to install it on windows xp system it gives an error that
your 25 character product key is invalid.as in 2010 we don't get the option to set product key
i checked the setup.mdb but there is no tag defined as [Product Key].then i created the one but still problem was same.
"your 25 character Product key is invalid.
Does any one have a solution to this problem

first of all you should download the RTM or RTW version. Then buy a license or if you have a MSDN subscription look it up on the downloads. Use that product key to install.
If you don't have these and don't want to purchase one then you can fall back to the free version:
Visual Web Developer Express 2010. Make use of WebPI to install it.

Note that Visual Studio 2010 will require SP3 to be installed with Windows XP to run.
