Thank you for your help, however I was told that If I deleted the account it would mess up other things on my computer is that true? I read that somewhere on line . I have tried so hard to find the correct solution this issue, how did asp.net wind up as
an administrator on my machine in the first place? I sure dont want my computer to get messed up because of this or from deleteing this. Are you positive it can be deleted without issues? Im just a Mom who wound up with this mysterious admin account on my
machine. No children are old enough to even play on this computer so it is amazing that this has happened.
Please guide me thru this, as I said I cannot afford to have my computer messed up.
Again thank all of you who responded to my request for help.

so it is amazing that this has happened
Most likely for something to be able to work you had to install, or have some application install it for you, an older version of the .NET framework which also put this extra account into place. I recommend you set a
restore point in Windows and then you can take it out if you want/need to. If it fails you can go back to that restore point.

I understand from your above statement that Microsoft Asp.net got downloaded automatically in your system without your knowledge.
Please check if some of your application requires asp.net to run.
If that is not the case plz check your computer for any viruses as Microsoft Asp.net usually won't download automatically with out a purpose.
If you wish to uninstall asp.net,
Step 1:you can go to the controlpannel of your computer.
Step 2: you can remove the software by using add/remove option.
Before that plz do analyze why the scenario has happend.
If you can get me more details of the issue may be I can help you to solve the issue

Kris I stated in my post that it was an update from Ms. and the asp.net account will not let me delete it. Microsoft is really something, no wonder I read so many bad things about microsoft. This is really frustrating. My computer is booting slow and I
know it is because of asp.net being set as administrator on my machine. Im not a geek like you all are, Im just a single Mom with a problem that Ms has left me no way to resolve.
Thanks Chris, if you have any other suggestions please let me know.

My purpose is that asp.net from the update of net framework,is showing me in my computer that it is administrator. I did not do that. For some reason it happened due to nothing that I have done,I believe it set up as admin when I ran CHKDSK on my machine,
other things changed also, like the bootup name of my system went to numbers rather than the AMD Quadcore Phenom 9600 that it used to say and many of my system files and folders are in numbers rather than names.?? But my main issue is the asp.net being an
account that is set up as administrator on my machine. Im the only one who was admin,Im running XP Home. I did try to delete asp.net admin account by following the directions from the first answer on your site, but it is still in my user accounts, Im have
no code? just dont like asp.net having an admin account on my computer. Any suggestions? Thank you for your kindness.

Hi and thank you, Yes it downloaded with updates from MS update. funny thing is that when it first downloaded it was not showing as an administrator account in my users, it was showing up as local machine account or something like that. I didnt like it
but could have lived with it until it turned into an administrator account. It will not allow me to delete it. It is not a virus, or malware,I have a clean machine and do all I can to protect it. So I have no idea how to change this. I did manage to delete
it in local users, but it still shows in my users accounts from control panel.
