Basically, I made three reports which are working perfect individually. Then I made another report (report4) and tried to call those
three reports as sub report inside report4. But I want to use 3 sub reports in a table.
When I’m using sub reports by themselves, the
report4 works fine. When I’m trying to put sub reports in separate rows of a table in
report4 then it won't work.
It seems the table has to have data source! But the only reason I am using the table is to formatting sub reports, nothing else. So I don't think there should be a data source for
Thank you for any help in advance

Table is the same object as datatable in c#, As any table is not assigned with the connection property you cannot add the table without data source in SSRS reports. So you must have datasource to create a table.
If you are doing all these only for formatting you can do one thing, use the same datasource created for the other reports i.e. Report1 etc.

Are you refering Reporting Services report? If so I think you can display different subreports into one table, but make sure below two points:
1. Do not use shared dataset in the subreport, otherwise you will receive error message on the main report.
2. Just make use table's header or footer row on the main report to display the subreport rather than detail row.
If the issue still exist, please give the detail steps to reproduce this issue, and give the detail error message.
