Could anybody advise an open source code I could use to create a website as an Internet store I could sell stuff from there?
It would be nice to have it in VB.NET I could use VS2008 or VS2010 to modify it.

That is great!!! Thank you so much Smirnov. It'd be nice if it was VB.NET as I don't know C# but it's Ok I'll try to figure it out. I'd also need to figure out how to change all css colors to make them not so black, etc.

You can check their forum at http://www.nopcommerce.com/boards/default.aspx
As a regular ASP.NET app, nopcommerce uses Themes and MasterPages. You should find current css files in the themes directory.
Another open-source solution on ASP.NET is http://dashcommerce.org

nopCommerce 2.00 was rewritten. Now it's MVC 3.0 (Razor)

i try to run the nopcommerce and i get this error
It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.
i searched and found that the problem is that the directory is handled as virtual directory
i have to change that in iis manager
but i cannot find iis manager in windows 7 home premium that i have
is there another way to solve that?
