hi all,what is the difference between to use master page or to use template page????what kind of this techniques have a better performance?

Master page is better. Lighter aspx. page and faster loading. Faster loading is better for user experience and best for SEO. Plus Master page will allow you to communicate with all the childs programmatically. Even if you don't need it now, you may want
to add some functianality in the future.

A MasterPage allows for repeated same type mostly 'static' content displayed on repeated 'Content Pages' where as 'Template Pages' are designed more for 'dynamic' data needs. So I wouldn't look at it from a performance standpoint as much as what your needs
are for the page. Personally I have never used a Template page, but I use Master Page's in the majority of my ASP.NET web projects for header and menu content.
