THere is a lot of training videos on this webbpage. The problem is, they are in silverlight which causes all my browsers to crash and vs2008/2010 to crash. I assume that VS uses Internet Explorer to display the webbpages.
Basicly i open VS 2010, look at the latest new and click on anything that has a video, for instance "New Video on Using Razor Helpers in ASP.NET MVC3". VS open the following url asp.net/mvc/videos/mvc-3-razor-helpers which causes a message "VS dosn't respond"
and closes itself down.
The same goes for when i try to go in through the browser to the following:
and then under essential videos i click on anything. In IE 64-bit it won't even find the silverlight application, in normal IE it crashes, in Chrome (my normal webbbrowser) the Silverlight app crashes.

did you already try to reinstall the Silverlight plugin? Also delete the history of the browser, open the page, press ctrl + F5 and try again to play it.

As Kris indicates, unfortunately this sounds like a Silverlight installation problem, and not a problem with the ASP.NET website.
Please see this page
http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/get-started/install/ for instructions on how to install or remove Silverlight from your computer. If you need further assistance, Microsoft offers free support for Silverlight install/uninstall issues, and you can
