using report builder 2.0
I copied an existing report because it has most of the fields and functionality that i need however when I run the changed report I realize that there are expressions that were used in the old report that I do not need in my newer version. this expression
according to the error message is used by a textbox that no longer exists on the report.
so the question I have is how do I see and delete expressions that are no longer used in my report?

during the error time, it must be telling you the textbox id/tablix id where the expression has been written, just try that textbox and find the expression.

yes, here is the error, I do not have a field called FieldA and I dont need FieldA but that field was in the dataset for the last report. When I go to the properties of Tablix6 I do not see where this field is used. I rightclicked on tablix6 and clicked
on every expression icon I could see there but no mention of FieldA, does anyone know how to find the hidden expression for this tablix?
The Hidden expression for the tablix ‘Tablix6’ refers to the field ‘FieldA’.
Report item expressions can only refer to fields within the current dataset scope or,
if inside an aggregate, the specified dataset scope. (rsFieldReference)

I copied the rows into a new tablix and then when the rows were gone there was this:
that was behind the rows so I could not see it. very strange that this is not visible in the properties of the tablix but i have to delete the rows to find it. so the solution was to use a new tablix with the fields inside the new tablix copied into it.
