We have a registry setting that needs to be pushed to only a select group of users, and only a select group of workstations. The registry setting is to add this DWORD key, with a decimal value of 128:
Is this possible to do via Active Directory or group policy? Again a requirement is that
only certain users, and
only certain workstations, will receive this registry update.
Thank you very much for your expertise on this matter.

Since it affects the current user hive you can create a GPO and set that as a login script using vb or as a .reg file.
To target only specific computers or users you can do it in several ways. If the computers or users belong to a specific OU or OUs you just link that GPO to those OUs. The other option would be to set the GPO to only affect users that belong to a security
group. In the properties of the GPO there is a scope tab. On that tab there is Security Filtering tab where you can add/remove groups that will be affected by the GPO and just apply the GPO to the top level of the domain
