I am using EF and design the contexts by extending the DbContext
because I am creating many mini sites, and all of them have it own Data table structures
but it also shared some common data tables
so i split those contexts into many small dlls
so that the main site can union all the data, but the mini sites does not required all the dlls
just wondering is it a good idea to do that?
thank you very much

Yes this will work fine. Thats how I do, Instead of using same code again and again on multiple websites, Ihave created DLL of each module.
So my suggesstion.. Go For It :)

Yes!This is absolutely right! This day i have try to use EF4.1 code first. I put the dbContent class in my old project which contains Model first code i got an error : could not found XXX class in EDM.Finally i found Model first and code first could not
be run together then i separate the code first model in another project that works fine!.
