When I export a report with drillthrough to excel, the links are retained onto the excel file generated thereby redirecting me back to the report when I click on the link. After googling, I found that there is no way(maybe there is) of disabling drillthrough
on the reportviewer so I have to remove the hyperlinks from the excel file instead.
I have written a macro to delete all the hyperlinks on the excel file on startup. Now, Is there a way to inject the macro into the excel file from codebehind so that when the report is exported, it runs the macro automatically thereby deleting all the hyperlinks
in the excel file?
Or bettter still, Is there any way of disabling drillthrough prior to exporting the report? I personally think this would be the best option. Help urgently needed.
BTW I'm exporting the report from code behind

In reporting services 2008 R2, there is a new build-in field Globals!RenderFormat.Name, you can make use of this field to control drill-through function. To local report, currently, there is no build-in feature to achieve this.
However here I still would recommend you to submit a feedback to Microsoft Connect at this link at this link
