In my project I have used the FormsAutentication concept.
when user click on the logout button , again signing as different user and after succesfull login but still it is showing
previous user details.
Every time I have to delete the cookies in internet explorer before login as different user. but in mozilla and chrome working fine.

May 17, 2011 05:50 AM|amitpatel.it|LINK
use below code after signout statement..
// clear authentication cookie
HttpCookie cookie1 = new HttpCookie(FormsAuthentication.FormsCookieName, "");
cookie1.Expires = DateTime.Now.AddYears(-1); Response.Cookies.Add(cookie1);
// clear session cookie (not necessary for your current problem but i would recommend you do it anyway)
HttpCookie cookie2 = new HttpCookie("ASP.NET_SessionId", "");
cookie2.Expires = DateTime.Now.AddYears(-1);

The article about Understanding the Forms Authentication Ticket and Cookie may help you to resolve your issue!
link introduces the FormsAuthentication.SignOut method, hope it helps.
If you still troubleshoot your issue unsuccessully, you need to provide the source code. We just need a samplest sample to reproduce your issue, and you can remove any confidential information or business logic form it.
