I hav a problem handling huge data in Excel sheet. So i need to write a code to help me do my work.
Here is my problem case:
I have 2 columns in Excel : Column A- containg "Doctor names from DB "
Column B- contain " Doctor names from Excel ". The data looks some what like this:
Doctor names from DB Doctor names from Excel
Dr. Alok Ranjan S N Mishra
Dr. Anand Shukla A K Thakur
Dr. Anish Chandarana Alok Ranjan
Dr. Anoop Gupta Jayaprakash
Dr. Ashish Jain Arunangshu Ganguly
I have around 2500 records in column A and 1800 records in column B.
Here is what i need to do now:
1) Identify all the records in column B which are not in A , and copy them to a new column- column C
2) Identify all the records which are repeated in column A , and copy them to a new column- column D
3) Identify all the records which are repeated in column B , and copy them to a new column- column E
Note that the data in 2 rows may be same but with a little difference, say for example, Dr. Thomas and thomas.

One of the way I know.
You hv to create your own formula.
In Macro,write a procedure/function.
Here write a suitable query
Call this using formula
so total there will be 3 formula/query
