hi my friends
i have designed a report in vs2008 & sqlserver2005(MicrosoftReportViewer) but my database images are displayed as address
what's the problem?
(in a DataBound control such as GridView my images are displayed correctly)

A report can include images from external locations, from database tables, or from binary images embedded in the report definition. For external images and data-bound images, you must verify that the image exists and that the report user has permissions
to access the image.
To your scenario, you should add an image control to your report, then set its image source.

Thanks a lot for your guidance....when i added image control from toolbox to my report and set: source=database & mime type=image/gif & vlue=Fields!avatar.Value my image Not shown
IN DATASET MY COLUMN'S DATA TYPE IS System.String
