This version of the report writer does not support a snap to grid, or I can't find it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to replace the snap to grid functionality.

snap to grid is a feature in Office, there is no such a feature in Reporting Services, you should lay the data region manually. Thanks for your understanding.

Challen, I am referring to the "Snap To Grid" feature in the Visual Studio 2008 version of the report writer for creating RDLC reports. This is accessable from the report properties window. Did microsoft remove this feature with Visual Studio 2010 or an
I missing it. My question had nothing to do with Office.

I am sorry for misunderstanding your meaning, Snap to Grid/Ruler and the actual grid have been removed in VS2010. However, the report elements snap to each other's borders and it is easier to align them correctly than in VS2008. You can submit this feedback
