I have developed an application with EF 4.0 ASP.NET on MySql using MySql connector 6.3. On my local server everything works fine, until i came to know when i deployed the application and mysql connector assemblies on the hosting server.
The problem is that Godaddy does not allu full trust on shared hosting. I have gone through various blog posts and forums and have identified the details of the problem.
The other problem is that my application is using ASP.NET Membership Provider from MySql connector 6.3 also.
After long hours of no success I thought to post this problem for some help from the community.
I have already gone through the solutions mentioned in following posts:
Since my application is strictly using EF 4 with ASP.NET 4.0 and ASP.NET Membership and I cannout afford to alter.

This may or may not help your situation.
First: try setting your local hosting to med level trust in your web.config. You will have to take this line out before you upload to your server but it allows debugging on your local machine before you publish.
In my case this helped to find out that it was trying to create a new instance of a precedure instead of calling a precedure one the server. clearing this up in debugging mode is a lot easier. than a generic error.
Second you can try and use a Sql database for authentication. then maybe a mysql for data storage witch makes more sense seeing that an sql database can only hold 200mb and a mysql can hold 1gb of storage at the time of this posting on godaddy service plans.
