It's bizarre. It works in a charm in my IE9.

This might depend on what content is pasted into the editor. For example, in your
other post, the content pasted into the editor included an html tag that wasn't well formed and a small bit of text then dropped out of the normal flow when the browser attempted to adapt to the incomplete markup.
If you have a link to the thread where you saw to above anomoly, we could check it to see if it's the same situation.

The content I pasted in other post might be markup as I copied it from browser page.
but in this thread, I pasted from notepad and it was plain text and does not contain any html or script.
I remember the issue scenario, sometimes cursor focus will not go to HTML editor in IE9 though we click 2, 3 times. if we paste anything that time, it gets pasted at top of the page.
it's already 3AM here. going bed. I'll come back to this thread to report scenario If I can simulate the issue tommorow.

ohh after spending lots of time I could find the issue.
Issue is in only IE9. HTML Editor will not get focus unless you click on first row of it. Generally anyone just clicks on white area somewhere in middle depends on where cursor possion already there.
Click on white area of HTML EDITOR (not in first row). then paste NOTEPAND content. You would see the issue.
another issue with IE 9 is popup windows are taking lots lots of time to load, ex:- Insert code winodw, HTML view window, HTML editor toolbar.
Hope posting these observations helps.

Simply press "alt + z" and the cursor'll get inside the editor. Works far more easy for me than trying to find that sweet spot with the mouse.
And for me in IE9 it loads fast. No problems so far in that browser for me.

Thanks Krish for the reply.
Thanks for letting me know that shortcut. I'll start use that.
but, not sure how many people use alt+z. I asked few of my team members. generally many of us use mouse click on html editor to get focus.
It's not loading problem. issue even after page load complete in IE9. HTML editor focus is coming fine with mouse in click in any other browser.
