I want to write some code that will send myself a text message (SMS). I currently use Verizon Wireless as my carrier. I am not interested in sending to any number in the world "just to myself". So I was wondering is there a way to send a SMS message and
it only cost me my normal messaging fee? In other words can I write some code that will send/receive from my cell number and the only charges be directly billed via my normal verizion bill? I hope you can understand my question here. I am not looking to write
a generic application to work for any cell phone which I am sure would cost money for me to send. I was looking for a free solution as far as the application goes. If verizion charges me to send / receive the text message then that is OK.

Contact their customer care , I think any cell company do some sms's selling , you can buy 1000 and more msgs and they'll give you the code to send it.
