Having few doubts,
1. I am using Session to maintain some value. I have to read some value from a one sessions value in another session. Here I think i can maintain it using cookie or maintaining the session in state server or sql server. but I want to know is there any other
approach in maintaing the state in client side .
2. I have set the session variable in page load . after that i am trying to access the session value in web service consumed by that webiste. but I was not able get the same session in web service. can i know what is work around I need to do for getting
the same session in web service also.

Is that web service part of the web application or is it a totally independent?

for your forst question.
Session is stored only in server, you can not store in client. For session is create uniqe session ID for every client and taht is stored in client machine as cookie or browser (if cookie less), that session ID is refered in server with respective values.
For second question.
On above I have specified session store in web server(sepcifi application domain) and you are accessing your web service from another machine hence you are not able to get this serve because your web service is on another application domain.
Mark as answer if this is helps

don't use session inside web service programme, use parameter.
