I'm attempting to get to grips with ObjectDataSources (VS2010 C# and
ASP.net)and was wondering where I should instantiate the Business (BL)
& Data layers (DA) >
My BL returns a list of strings. In the past I have instantiated both layers in the code behind page using something like this:
DA.Publisher da = new DA.Publisher();
BL.Publisher bl = new BL.Publisher(da);
But when using the ObjectDataSource (ODS) the code in my aspx page points straight to the method in the BL.
Not sure where to do this now.

You may want to take a look at my article series on N-Layer design. You find the first part here:
It shows you how to use the ObjectDataSource (among many other things) to access a business layer which in tun can access a data layer.
