I have a web application, asp.ent 3.5, I want to access this site using mobile phone
how could be done, what are the other componets required

There isn't any "other" components required. It works straight out of the box. However I would recommend having a "mobile" skin so the site looks presentable on a mobile device.
The CSS rules that come with mobile browsing are very different. Just browse to it and see.

General ASP.NET websites works absolutely fine with all Mobile browsers[HTML Comptaaible]. So you need to take care of display issues.
Just add the following tags in the head section of you page,
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=5.0, user-scalable=1.0;" />
<meta name="HandheldFriendly" content="true" />
