Just wanted to know in which type of web application we can use out proc session state mode? Please give some example and explain why?

most of the time you keep things as the default InProc. However if you want to move out to a
webfarm and don't make use of sticky sessions you need to have a single place to store sessions. So that leaves you with these 2 options. The reason why you need that single place is because you can't predict with stickyless
sessions to which server one gets redirected so they might have put something in session on server 1 and return to server 2 and find themselves not having that session over there. Hence the need of a single point of putting your session state.
