I included facebook comments on my website which is really nice and easy. However, I have been banging my head against the wall trying to get rid of this annoying scrollbar for hours and I don't know where else to go for help (the facebook developers forum
is not informative).
The comments on my page are fluid and the iframe grows as expected, but there is a super annoying disabled scrollbar on the right hand side that does absolutely nothing. It shows up in IE8 always, Firefox always, and chrome after a refresh, but not on initial
load. It never shows up in IE8 compatibility mode.
If I use firebug to modify the body.external class in the CSS file received from the plugin to have overflow:hidden, the scrollbar goes away. Trying to override it in my own CSS file does not work.
If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it.
