My new asp.net website is using OracleSessionprovider for session statemanagement. I configured my web.config with oracle custome provider setting and its pointing to my oracle database to store session data. All working fine till here.
Problem is , I have setup my session timeout and 90 min but I am able to access my session data even after 90 min. The session is not expiring after 90 min. I tested it with 1 min also but no luck. I configured my web. config for timeout 90 min.
.net Framework vers: 4.0
Any help on this much appreciated.

Chapter 5 has information on the timeout parameter
In addition, there are some privileges that must be invoked.
Oracle Providers for ASP.NET requires the following privileges during setup:
** CHANGE NOTIFICATION
** CREATE JOB
** CREATE PROCEDURE
** CREATE PUBLIC SYNONYM
** CREATE ROLE
** CREATE SESSION
** CREATE TABLE
** CREATE VIEW
** DROP PUBLIC SYNONYM
** GRANT ACCESS TO AND ALLOCATE SPACE IN AN ORACLE TABLESPACE
For ASP.NET runtime
All providers require CREATE SESSION to the schema user(s).
Sitemap and Cache Dependency providers require CHANGE NOTIFICATION privilege
Session State Provider requires the CREATE JOB privilege for Oracle 10g/11g

The problem was with my web.config setting. Ihave changed the authentication attribute's timeout property as same as session timeout then its woked.
