I am very new to ASP.NET and have recently created my first Dynamic Data Website.
I am in the process of trying to customise the site to appear the way I would like it to appear and am really stuck!
I want to have text boxes with sizes that vary dependant on the field. So for server name, I would like a relatively short text box, whilst for larger text field like description, I would like the text box to appear larger by default.
I have edited the asp:TextBox item in Text_Edit.ascx and have changed the columns and rows values to be larger but this changes the size for all fields.
I need a way of making some text boxes small while making others large.
May be really easy but very new to all this!
Thanks in advance.

Not clear to me.
If you just wanna resize your textbox then set the hight and weight of the textbox control. If you want it to be multiline textbox then set TextMode="Multiline".

You will have to do some work to make this happen, a simple way is like this example Rick Anderson uses here
Setting font attributes with UIHint in your Entity Partial Class You can use this method to pass in values to set field width etc.
