I created a project using the ASP.NET Dynamic Data Domain Service Web Application.
For most pages, I just wire up a DomainDataSource and let it handles all the CRUD functions.
However, on a complex page with lots of relationships, I am attempting to do updates myself and I am unable to get the update to work.
When I call the UpdateXXX function from my domainservice directly, it fails because the CHANGESET is null.
How do I update using the DomainService directly ??-- or would I be better off using the DomainEntity?

I have done some custom updates myself. If you can explain your problem a bit, someone might be able to help you out.

simple example below ...
DomainService is a LinqToEntitiesDomainService
The methods are produced when I created the service.
The update will fail, with a note that the ChangeSet is null.
using domainService as new DomainService
dim employee = domainService.GetEmployee.Where(Function(e)(e.id=3))

Hi mbcoop, do you get this error with an unmodified DS?
