Hey guys, Does anyone have an example of a blog like Scott's with a Archives Section for articles
Basically, I am looking for an example "with xml" of creating the menu with articles count for that month/year/category like the above one in the Archives section. I want to use a repeater for menu and a datalist for the articles displayed. I want it to
be purely XML. Also want it to filter the articles in the datalist dynamically (when i click on the category). Now I can bind the datalist to an xml file, crate a repeater/datalist to show the menu with a linkbutton and pass the commandArguement when clicked
to the ItemCommand event to filter the datalist and rebind it using the new XPath expression, but how do I display a count of articles in each category from the XML file? I've tried restructuring the XML file many times without luck but still cannot get it
I am only looking for a single or couple page example. I don't want to use a heavily blotted application or use MSSql as the database.
Any help is much appreciated,Thanks!

I think it is created by the crosstab pivot table (sql) for the date field to show the data. Then binding data to a Data Presentation Control like Repeater, DataList. You can search the sample for it.
