I have a page where a user can enter data into a field to update the SQL field. In the table, the field is set to VarChar 50, the parameter in the stored procedure is set to VarChar 50. However, the user's input is begin truncated at 20 characters. What
would cause this?
@user int = -1,
@ID int = 0,
@CoID varchar(3) = '',
@Imprint varchar(3) = '',
@edition varchar(50) = '', .......
UPDATE Titles SET IsPublic = @isPublic, title = @title, indexTitle = @indexTitle, subTitle = @subTitle, edition = @edition, .....
Data Typ: varchar Length: 50 Identity: False

Maybe a bug in the code that calls the SP.

Actually, I just found out there is another table that sets the field length for the asp page. The field in that table was set to 20 characters! It has now been fixed. Thanks for your response though.
