Username must be an unique don't allow duplicate username and pass this username as a querystring when the user hit the login button based on username you have to do what you need to show on the screen.

In ASP.NET Web forms you can use URL rewriting or the routing framework so that www.yoursite.com/Scott_Millett resolves to
www.yoursite.com/usershomepage.aspx?User=Scott_Millett. If you are using the ASP.NET MVC framework you can set up your default routes so that
www.yoursite.com/Scott_Millett maps to your home controller and passes the user name as your action parameter.
