I'm not sure if this is the proper place to ask this question, but has anyone ever had issues with ASP.net or VB.net truncating the last ">" or last few letters of the last node and ">" of an XML document? Our clients are randomly experiencing this issue
and we cannot replicate it. The XML documents are being generated via stringbuilder/streamwriter as well as system.xml class. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never experience that before.
You might want to double check the code that generate the xml.
It seems to me that it is a bug in the case because it does not happen all the time.

The code is definitely correct. Some of it has been a part of our software package for years deployed to almost 100k users. We have heard of the issue once or twice before but it seems to be happening more and more often lately.
The OS is Win2k3 and most users are using IE7 if that makes a difference.

If this is a bug (you think), I mean that you should submit this to the Microsoft Bug Team for more.
