I have a catalog program that spits out an ASP.net VB website that does everything i need except alow users to upload items to the database. I love VWD and would like to use it to modify my exsiting site and allow users to upload items to the database. The
trick is that the database is Access (.mdb file) and the project wasnt made in VWD. Any help on bring the project into VWD or making a Dynamic Data site that can add to tables in the access dataBase would be much help to me.

If it's already an ASP.net site, to open it on VWD just select File > Open web site, and in FIle system browse to your site's root directory. Now, in order to use Dynamic Data you'll need a Sql Server (at least Express Edition database), cause it uses LINQ
to Sql.More about Dynamic Data here:
PS: Ever considered migrating to Sql Server Express? It's way more powerful than Access, and it ships with VWD, and it's also free to download.

Future projects I do plan on useing SQL server.
Ok so I got the project in VWD and it runs well, but I tried to make a page to insert items to a table with the access data source, query seems to be easy enough aslong as there is a primery key, but I must be missing something cuz it just pulls data from
the fist line in the table. What else do I need to insert an item to a table in an access database?

I got it to add a row on my database, but I have to put in a unique primary key, I want it to do it automaticly, and the user not to even see the primay key ID. Is there a code behind for this?
