I posted in Jobs that I'm looking for work: "http://forums.asp.net/t/1603840.asp"
I then modified my forum signature to point to that post, the link fails (223 bytes):
http://forums.asp.net/t/1603840.asp">looking for work</a> == c# mvc webforms xUnit.net</a><br />Gerry Lowry · twitter=.<a href="http://twitter.com/gerryLowry1947">@gerryLowry1947</a>
· +1 705-250-0112</b></div>
When I point to my own web site, the link works (219 bytes):
<b><a href="http://gerrylowryprogrammer.com">looking for work</a> == c# mvc webforms xUnit.net</a><br />Gerry Lowry · twitter=.<a href="http://twitter.com/gerryLowry1947">@gerryLowry1947</a>
· +1 705-250-0112</b>
In both cases, I am substantially less than the allowed 255 characters for our signatures.
Is this a bug?

I have added a forums.asp.net link to my signature to test, and that seems to be working OK. When you say "the link fails", do you mean that you aren't able to save it in your profile, or that it is saved correctly but clicking on the link in your signature
results in an unexpected behavior?

Checking further, I see that the link you are trying to include in your signature is incorrect, so that would be resulting in a 404.
The correct URL of the post is: http://forums.asp.net/t/1603840.aspx. (Note the "x" on the end.)
