I am developing a small web application for my client. I have a question regarding setup and running application. Suppose, after finishing the application I need to install SDK and IIS on clients machine. Also I have to put my original code on his
machine too Which I don't want.
What I can do for it? I don't want to put my code on his machine. I just want to make something from which he will just run the application ONLY. If anyone know this please help me... (I am using VS2008)
IIS and ASP.NET 2.0 setup
IIS 7 and ASP.NET 2.0

* you can host the application in some machine (server) where he does not have access permission and just give him the URL to access the website.
* Host the website in some hosting companies server and give the url to the client ( need to pay for hostin company)
* compile the webiste adn host the compiled website in client's machine he cannot see the code bcos all files will be as DLL

You can use the precompiled application to host on the IIS.
It will contain some dll files and the .aspx pages only (not .cs or .vb files)

Thanks for the reply....
I complied the application using aspnet_complier and followed the procedure. File has been made but when I run the application using IIS ( Right Click-> Browse) then it shows me an error message:
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser to retry your request.
Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.

Ok. After the above error message I follow the following steps:
Right Click on my Virtual Directory in IIS->All Tasks->Permission Wizard-> and apply the default settings and it ran now. My web site is running.
But now the problem is that another problem occurs. and it shows me this:
where it is exists? Because in my app_data directory only one d/b. then what is the problem?
