Please help me to setup VWD 2010 on my machine.
I have Windows XP SP3 with .Net version 2.0, 3.5, and 4.0 installed. And now I am trying to setup the VWD 2010 Express edition, but it never completes and fails straight away saying that "Setup did not installed following component "Microsoft Application
Error Reporting". Actually I am receiving same error for Visual C# Express 2010, Visual Basic Express 2010 etc.
I have checked in Event Viewer for detailed description of the error and got this
EventType vssetup, P1 microsoft visual web developer 2010 express - enu, P2 10.0.30319.01, P3 10.0.30319.1, P4 1, P5 gfn_mid microsoft application error reporting, P6 verify_i_interactive_error, P7 0x654, P8 NIL, P9 NIL, P10 NIL.
What could be the real cause of the error. I dont have any Antivirus, Firewall configured, that I thought may be the issue.
Please please help me. I googled for the issues but no help :(
Thanks for your help in advance

I tried to install the update and got this
"Setup has detected that the service pack version of the system installed is newer then the upated you are applying to it. You can only install this update on computer with no service packs installed"
So this means I have updated patches installed on my machine...
Any further guesses ???
