I currently have a module which gets an incoming users IP and checks it against a database. I have a web service/ application which I now have set up with Basic Authentification. I would like to check the users IP, if they are in a certain IP range i want
to pass their UN/PW (which i get from the database) through. This way my services are blocked by UN/PW but my clients, coming from certain IP ranges dont actually need to enter them.
I am here- I can check and authenticate IP and grab a UN/PW which is stored in a database.
I Know- I need to grab the 401 error and the WWW-Authentication header and use that to structure the return with the UN/PW, but I dont know how to do this.
I am doing all this in C# and implementing this as a HTTPModule. Any help would be great, Thanks!

Is this too simple or has it stumped everyone?
