On the first PC (a laptop), where i worked on it with VS2008, the top links show almost no space between them.
When i deployed on another PC (a desktop), the spaces show properly.
My IIS is 5.1 on both computers.
What could be causing it?

The client software (i.e. the browser) decides how to display pages, not the server.
Even the same browser can be setup to display differently on different machines.

True, though the browser displays what it's told to display too.
I fixed it by changing ASP.NET version from 4.0.30319 to 2.0.50727 from:
computer management (management console) > IIS > default web site > right-click > properties > ASP.NET tab > ASP.NET version
