I want to restart the REST service since even after adding a new service or services I don't see any change in the help page at all and afterward all the services don't work... Is their any solution to this... worst case scenario I have to create a new project
all over again...
By the way Im using C# .NET 4.0

I'm just wondering, how do you host the REST service? Do you use ASP.NET development server (when you directly hit F5 on service with .svc), or use WebServiceHost, or publish to IIS?

When I host this REST service using Visual Development Server it automatically assigns a port that will handle the service. e.g.: http://localhost:12345/Service/
This happens when I run the service, I dont use any .svc file. Im using .NET WCF REST 4.0.

Hi Ravi, I can't replicate your problem here. What do you do to hit the service? Do you use certain browser? Have you tried pressing Ctrl + F5 to force to reload page?
And what problems exactly are you seeing? Does the help page not updated even though you have updated the service? How do you update the service?

Ctrl + F5 seems to work some times. But when I publish the service to IIS then the service works fine.
