I have a requirement to build a mobile application that should work on Apple iPhone, Google Android, Palm OS, Nokia and Microsoft based mobile devices. I'm planning to use Visual Studio with C# and HTML 5. Can someone tell me if I can write the application
using these tools and make it work for all these types of phones. I don't want to use System.Web.Mobile as it's not supported by other browsers.

inorder to work fine in all types of mobile browsers.
Microsoft is planning to release IE9 browser which supports HTML5. One more thing HTML 5 is not approved by W3C yet.
NOTE: May be iPhone 4, supports HTML 5.
Hope it helps u...

BEWARE OF IMMATURE FRAMEWORKS and make sure you understand distribution requirements of "app stores", etc.
Personally, I have had some bad experiences with immature frameworks. Additionally consider where "reuse" should occur. UI code or Services and Data?
Consider native clients - for isolation of client to code (testing isolation).
