Has anyone been able to assign a tooltip or Title=" " to show when the cursor hovers over a featureAd? I'd like the actual ad title from the ads database to pop up like a tooltip, dynamically. Thanks, Bev

Sure. Go into the page that hosts the FeaturedAd control and hard wire the following event:
<asp:AdRotator ID="AdRotator1" runat="server" AdvertisementFile = "ads/ads.xml" Width="206px" Height="313px"
Then in the code behind page, add the method to pluck the values and assign them where you need them, in this case to the ToolTip:
public void AdCreated_Event(Object sender, AdCreatedEventArgs e)
AdRotator1.ToolTip = e.AlternateText;
lblAdCaption.Text = e.AlternateText;
(You'll have to syntactically adapt that to VB, but that's the solution.

Hmmm, That didn't work for me. I get the error message that ToolTip is not valid for asp:repeater control. I must be doing something wrong.

Try something like:
lblAdCaption.Text = "<span title=\"Whatever title you want\">"+e.AlternateText+"</span>";
