I am working on a standard html based ASP.NET page to display this on mobile phone (PDA). Now i am using file uploader on it. Now the problem is i can upload files with name less than and equal to 6 character.
more than 6 character it is not able to upload file. But in normal browser it can do that. And on Emulator or PDA it is giving me problem.
However, I have now noticed that the file name part of the file path
seams to be restricted to a maximum of 6 chars. I have tried adding the
maxLength at a custom attribute but this does not seam to have any effect.
Any ideas how I might be able to allow the user to submit longer file names ?

According to me it is not allow to uploadf file on mobile form. The solution for this that i used is add a simple aspx form and put the file upload control on that and design this form in such a way that it become fit on mobile devices.
Thanks and kind regards,
