Has anyone heard if 1and1 is going to provide support for ASP.NET 3.5 any time soon?
I currently use GoDaddy for my travel portal app, but they seem to want to focus more on domain name management and thier admin console is just a mess.
I have used 1and1 for some other MS hosting and was quite happy with it.
Other suggestions for small-biz MS hosting welcome.

Hell, a host that does not have that allready? Sosftsys Hosting (see my signature) had .Net 4 the day it was released!
How about you just contact their suport. if they are worth the money, you should have an answer faster than you would get from the forums?

You should ask their support if they will start providing
ASP.NET 3.5 hosting or higher.

You need to keep in mind that with 1and1 you are dealing with a mass hoster. As a mass hosting company it's hard to expand and grow with the new technology as they come out, since resources may be allocated as some other need, be it integration of billing
with the multiple platforms/products or other items.
For GoDaddy, domain registration and management is where they got their start and that really is their "bread & butter" so to speak. Most everything for them is going to be built around managing they domain with hosting being an after thought.
To get the latest in .NET technology supported well and fast, you really should look towards a .NET focused hosting company.
