I hope this is the correct forum to ask about a problem I'm having importing an Excel spreadsheet into an ASP .NET application. This problem is so bizarre that I'm not sure how to pose a question, but here goes:
I'm importing a spreadsheet that has 286 rows (including header) and 8 columns. My guess is that the data was entered into the spreadsheet from another spreadsheet using cut and paste. All of the columns have a "general" format, so there is no specific
formatting applied. Only the last 6 rows have a value in the last column, column 8. When I read in the spreadsheet, the values in the last row for column 8 just disappear. The other values for those last 6 rows are read in with no problems, but the values
in the last column are gone as if they were never entered!
If I put a value in column 8 in row 1 and read in the spreadsheet, the value in column 8 for row 1 appears, but so do the values for column 8 for the last 6 rows! If I do nothing else to the spreadsheet except format column 8, changing the format from general
to text, the values for column 8 for the last six rows appear!
I'm totally baffled. I don't know enough about hidden values in Excel that might cause this problem. I'm using Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 provider for .xls spreadsheets, and Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 provider for .xsls spreadsheets in my connection strings.
Any .net/Excel experts have any idea what might be going on?

This might be due to some formula is associated in Those rows, Select rows and copy then right click and do paste special a
pop up window appears and select values in that window. This will remove any formula or links associated with tht row.
If Not Works Send me your excel File.

I went to the formula tab in Excel and selected "show formulas." I see no formulas being used so I don't think that's the issue.
