I just installed vs 2010 and have compiled my app. If I deploy to a 32bit server, it works fine. My develiopment machine is a 64 bit box (w7). When I run in development, it complains that the interop.dll which I reference is incorrect format (see below).
I suspect this is a 32 bit versus 64 bit issue, but not sure.
Could not load file or assembly 'Interop.ADODB' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.
I use this dll to interface with the outlook calendar.
I tried to create a x86 configuration, but it gets compile errors on other referenced dlls. Can anyone shed some light on this?
I noticed that when I run using the development server, it works fine. When I run with a remote server, and point to a a 32 bit server, it works fine. When I run using the local IIS Web server (my typical config), it fails. I am configured for Any
CPU. I have tries x86, but have different issues. I can;t seem to find a config that works.
