Lately I've been having performance issues with Visual Studio. Sometimes I will type something and it will be several seconds before it shows up on the screen. Other times I will right-click my code or switch to a different file and it could take a full
minute or two before it responds. During this time, the CPU usage goes to 100% and my hard drive light turns on nearly constantly (hardly blinking).
I noticed several weeks ago (perhaps after some Windows updates) that Visual Studio now checks for syntax errors after every change. For example, if you type:
protected int foo()
it will put a red squiggly underline on "foo" because you have not yet typed a return statement.
My performance problems seem to be worst when editing a file in the App_Code, so I think it is related to this new auto-compile feature.
Does anyone know how to turn off the auto-compile feature? Any other ideas as to how to fix this problem?

First of all try resetting VS studio setting to default just go to Tools--> Import Export Settings->Reset All Settings
If it not work then try to uninstall that Update which you mention or else try to run VS repair after inserting the DVD & run the setup...
If that helps reply.... :)
