I currently use Windows Live Sync to copies files from my PC to my Netbook. All of the files for my ASP.NET application transfer successfully; however I cannot access the database on my Netbook (the database was set up on my home PC).
Does this have something to do with "Windows Authentication"? If so, how do I change my settings in Visual Web Developer to allow my Netbook to access the database.
I do not have the exact error with me, but it says: "cannot connect to database... make sure you're connected to the internet... blah blah". If this is essential to troubleshoot - I'll get the error again and post it.
Thanks again everyone for our help!

Look at your connection string and see if it can be used from your Netbook. If not, then you will need to modify it to work with your Netbook.

This is my connection string:
<add name="dbConnection" connectionString="Data Source=.\SQLEXPRESS;AttachDbFilename=D:\Websites\Website1\App_Data\Customers.mdf;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True"
Can you help me parse it so I can understand if I can use it on my Netbook?

The main issue is the AttachDbFileName: D:\Websites\Website1\App_Data\Customers.mdf. Unless your Netbook has a D with this identical path, then it will not connect.
The second issue is SQL Server Express itself. Is it installed on your Netbook? Your connection string is only for the instance when SQL Server Express is installed on the same server/computer as your web application.
