I have been writing vbscripts to automate logging into websites and filling out forms to view a specific web page. This works great on my client. However, I now have an iphone and I would like to be able to do this via the web browser with asp.net.
Does anyone know, how to convert the following vbscript so that it could work from an asp.net web form?
'create new IE instance
Set oIE = CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application")
'start with a blank page
oIE.Visible = True
While oIE.ReadyState <> 4
If oIE.document.forms(0).Item(0).Name = "login" Then
oIE.document.loginform.Login.Value = "myloginname"
oIE.document.loginform.Password.Value = "mypassword"
oIE.document.search_orders.searchby.Value = "Invoice Number"
This vbscript controls interenet explorer on the client to log me into to this third party provider service and then searches for one of my invoices and then leaves me on the page showing the invoice.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your response. Can you post or do ajax to an iframe from asp.net to a website that is on a different domain? I have been searching for posting with asp.net and all the examples I am finding show people posting data and retrieving back the
response in a message box or label, but the problem with that is, is that the links then don't work because you are not really on the site but on your own site. Do you have any .net code examples for programatically posting to another site and having your
browser end up on that site and not just retrieve the screen scrape from that site?
