First off, not sure if this is the most appropriate place for this post, so if it belongs in another category let me know.
I have an image that I'd like to modify at runtime.
Specifically, the image is a plain old JPG that looks like a stamper. It has the text "APPROVED" and underneath it is a blank space. In that blank space, I'd like to programmatically insert today's date at runtime.
So, whenever the image is rendered, it says i.e. "APPROVED 4/23/10". Pretty cut and dry.
To make it happen, there's a few approaches I could take. I'd like to accomplish this without using Flash or Silverlight (this is actually a customer requirement).
Can anybody tell me what kind of effort I'm looking at and where I'd get started?
