I have read other threads here and found really useful for making a decision about which hosting service to choose but there is one thing I been trying to figure out and I still can't. I have been developing this website on my computer using VS2008 and it
works perfectly. I tried testing it on my local IIS too and it works. If I were to setup this website on the internet using those hosting service, how should I umm kinda put those files (aspx pages and code behind files and others) on their server ? The website
includes membership and other kinda stuff working with database so umm I don't know exactly how to put everything together on their server. Will I be able to work just like working on my own pc and local IIS ? I mean using the same interfce for example, using
SQL Server Express to create tables, rows blur blur blur or each hosting service has their own interface to work with database ? I have never put my website on the internet so please help me out here. Thanks all.

After you completed your website with database and confirming your website is working fine in the local system.
The next step is to find and buy a nice hosting service that suits your requirements.
When you buy a hosting account, they will give a user name and password for your control panel. This control panel is where you work to create folders, subdomains, add domains, create database, create database users, create ftp user accounts and many more.
You can use the control panel to upload all your files to the server using the file manager feature available in the control panel. or use ftp account and upload all the files to the server using ftp client.
if you are using a sql server database, you have to recreate a similar database in the hosting server. That is easy, all you have to do is just backup the database in your local machine and just upload it to the server and restore it. Your control panel
will have all the options to do this.
When you recreate the database, you have to modify the connection strings in your website files....
Since you are a beginner, it will be nice and interesting to learn these methods step by step.
And always professional programmers are here to help you.
