I have developed an app using Visual Studio 2010 that works flawlessly on the development machine but when being deployed to a machine with IIS, it doesn't function properly. What I have is a log in page connecting to a SQL database initially. On the machine
with IIS, I have SQL Server 2008 R2 installed with Management Studio with the database attached to my SQLEXPRESS instance. My connection string comes up in IIS (Data Source=localhost\SQLEXPRESS;Initial Catalog=CMS_Main;Integrated Security=True). When I browse
to the application in browse to the site from IIS, everything displays properly and when the Login button is clicked, the code to check to make sure that the text boxes for username/password aren't blank executes properly, but as soon as the sub to actually
validate the credentials so I can access other information regarding the user, it's as if the code had an Exit Sub or the C+ equivalent in the sections because it just stops but if on the page, I say clear the username box and click the login button again,
it will again execute the code to make sure the user entered a username. I have no idea what other information anyone willing to help may need so just let me know and I will provide whatever is needed. Thanks in advance.
OS on IIS Machine: Windows 7 Professional
IIS Version: 7.5.7600.16385
Application Pool: ASP.NET v4.0
