I'm about to finalize two applications - both built in .NET 3.5 and we're days away from the launch of .NET 4.
I want these apps to be of the latest and greatest breed. I believe the final version of .NET 4 will be available on April 12th. I also realize that I can use the "Go Live" license to switch to .NET 4 now but I don't have a lot of developer resources --
it's just me -- and I'd hate to go through another extensive conversion process after .NET goes gold.
I wanted to get some input on this. Do you think there will be significant changes between .NET 4 RC and the final version? Do you think the conversion will be lengthy? I haven't even played with .NET 4 yet so not even sure how the conversion from .NET 3.5
to .NET 4 goes.
Wel as far as i know the .NET 4.0 RC and it Release version wont have any controls. it may have any bug fixes it has faced in RC release and nothing more than that will be included.
About the conversion process, it always recommended to use the original release conversion tool. it will be gr8 and you wont have to face much main in the process. RC conversion always have some backdrops in conversion aspect. i have faced this problem
when doing it from 2.0 to 3.5 RC, and 3.5 original version. it had gud enough difference. i suggest if you want to make use of any new .NET 4..0 controls just wait till mid of april and then carry on with it. if you dont want to make use of any new control
its better you postpone that, play around with .NET 4.0 controls and then go for conversion with suitable controls.
MARK AS ANSWER IF MY POST HELPED YOU!

I'd appreciate some advice on this.

You may have already seen this doc. This doc on MSDN explains how to migrate to ASP.NET 4.
See if it helps.
