Using Parralels you're not running on a Mac, you're running on Windows. Except for funny symbols on the keyboard and a really impressive display, there's no difference.

Anyone have any other advice? Pitfalls? Suggestions on the 'platform' to use?
e.g. Boot Camp, Parallels, Virtual PC, vmwear

If you have ASP.NET, where do you get those from? Those must have been developed in Windows. If yes, would it be that your office have some PC already?
If those ASP.NET programs are not developed in Windows, where would those developed in?
If you are thinking of running Virtual software (e.g VMware), you have to get a copy of Windows as well. Depends on if the company pays for the price, you may wish to search for other alternative first. Say can ASP.NET runs on some kind of Mac server program?
Is there any freeware for virtual software? Virtual Box?
There is something called Mono. I have heard one can use this program in Mac OS to run ASP.NET applications. Check it out.
